Mean Machines is back – but this time it’s green


Mean Green Machines is the third season of the popular Mean Machines series. In each episode, two machines are pitted against each other in a series of challenges – be it motorcycles, helicopters or race-cars – but in this series at least one of the machines has been designed to be green. Some use bio-fuels, others have electric engines, a few even get their power from the sun. Their designers know that the future will be green but only if they can make their machines as mean as their gasguzzling counterparts.

Can a green motorcycle drag as fast as a Harley? How can a green SUV have more horsepower than a new Corvette Z06? The stakes for the green side are high – if they can create a design that consumers will like and buy, the future could be theirs.
